In News, Well Drilling by Howard Fox

The first well drilling project that I was apart of at Overland was at Siankope Community School. The students and the two surrounding villages, were getting water from a dry riverbed about 3 kilometers away from the school. They had been hand digging down into the river at night and then getting the water in the morning. Once we started our project, we were able to drill the well, hit water and put in a hand pump within 4 days. It was awesome to be able a part of giving this community clean, safe water!
